Quick Backup is a backup utility that allows you to quickly and easily backup and restore crucial data. Any number of files and/or folders can be added to the backup. Adding data is as easy as dragging and dropping them from Windows Explorer! Backups can be stored on any device with read/write access, or even on an FTP server. If security is an issue, data can be encrypted during the backup process. Encrypted backups can only be decrypted by Quick Backup. FTP Backups (v1.1)

Backups can be stored on any FTP server. This provides the ability to perform off-site backups. When encryption is used, data is encrypted before being transferred, and is therefore, very secure. Passive FTP is also supported.

Scheduled Backups

You will never forget to run your backup if you use the scheduler. The scheduler is based on the Windows scheduler program, so the flexibility is endless.

Backup Types

Backups can be performed as either full backups or differential backups. Full backups can be performed to ensure data integrity. Differential backups can be performed to save time by backing up only files that have changed since the last backup.

Encryption (DES and AES)

Backups can be encrypted using the DES algorithm for added security. Backups can be encrypted using the AES algorithm (v2.0.1) for even more security than DES. Theses encryption algorithms are very secure and efficient. Backups encrypted using Quick Backup can only be decrypted with your password (so keep it safe and don't forget it!).

Drop Target

Data can be added to your backup simply by dragging and dropping files and/or folders from Windows Explorer onto the drop target. This makes adding data to your backup very quick and easy.

Hiding Backup Progress

Backups can be configured to run in the background. This means you work won't be interrupted when your scheduled backup is performed.

Backup Cleaner

The backup cleaner removes clutter from your backup by removing old files each time a backup is performed. This makes optimal use of space on your backup device.
