How Sourcecop Works

Home/How Sourcecop Works

SourceCop takes your PHP code and runs it through an algorithm to obfuscate your code so that its not human readable.

For example, the following PHP code:

<?php
// let us encrypt
function writenow()
{
   if(isset($HTTP_POST_VARS["action"]))
   {
      echo "Let us do some action.";
 }else{
      echo "No action this time.";
   }
}
// send the output
writenow();
?>

Will be obfuscated to a format that is not readable:

<?php

if(!function_exists('findsysfolder')){function findsysfolder($fld){$fld1=dirname($fld);$fld=$fld1.'/ scopbin';clearstatcache();
if(!is_dir($fld))return findsysfolder($fld1);else return $fld;}} require_once(findsysfolder(__FILE__).'/911006.php');
